Effect of using supplementation mineral or organic selenium with vitamin E as antioxidants in the flushing diet on the fertility of ewes

In this study, 44 Afshari ewes were investigated that 1–4 years old with a mean weight of 54–51 kg, physical score approximately three in four experimental groups. Ewes randomly assigned into groups including Group A Control (base diet recipient), B (Flushing), C (Flushing + Vitamin E Supplement Organic Selenium), and D Mineral Selenium). Blood sampling was carried out at different intervals namely beginning the course, 24 h prior to CIDR, after CIDR (estrus), 21 days mating (at time embryonic implantation). serum hormones (estrogen, progesterone, insulin) measured. The results study showed improvement reproductive efficiency, especially percentage lambing, fertility rate breed. use organic selenium supplement vitamin mineral flushing before increased performance breed sheep by increasing number insulin). treatment had highest lowest lambs, respectively 14 10 progenies. birth lambs related an average 4.49 kg. two Flashing factors supplementation significantly estrus fertility, reduce non-pregnant controlling oxidative conditions sex hormones.
